On February 9, 2015, authors, activists, and PEN America members including Lili Taylor, Andrew Solomon, Ayana Mathis, and poet Eileen Myles, took the stage in front of a packed house at Theatre 80 to mark the publication of Mohamedou Ould Slahi’s Guantánamo Diary, an authoritative first-hand account of imprisonment, torture, and day-to-day human interactions in the world’s most infamous detention camp.
