Solomon afirma que a depressão não é o oposto da felicidade, mas da vitalidade. Aqui, nos deparamos com um autor perplexo: como entender este “crime da solidão” cometido pelos que mais esbanjam alegria? Pela maneira franca de lidar com o tema, poucas tentativas poderiam ser mais tocantes do que esta.

By the frank way of dealing with the subject, few attempts could be more touching than this.
