Books for a Better Life Award Goes to Andrew Solomon for “Far from the Tree”

At National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s annual awards ceremony, hosted by former “Today” show host Meredith Vieira, Andrew Solomon was honored with the Books for a Better Life Award for Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity. Will Schwalbe also received the award for The End of Your Life Book Club. Additionally, Gail Sheehy was voted into the Books for a Better Life Hall of Fame for her numerous contributions to the self-help literature.
