Andrew Solomon will speak at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center’s upcoming symposium and celebration of the life, impact and 100th birthday of Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, a revolutionary figure in the fields of pediatrics, child development, and family engagement.
The celebration kicks off Monday morning with speakers working on the frontlines of social justice:
• Geoffrey Canada, President, Harlem Children’s Zone;
• Sandra Gutierrez, Founder and National Director, Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors;
• Andrew Solomon, author, Professor of Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, and President of PEN American Center; and
• Tarajean Yazzie-Mintz, Vice President, American Indian College Fund.
