On Sunday, July 12, Bedford Playhouse will host a livestreamed talk by Dr. Andrew Solomon on the mental health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Solomon is author of The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression, Far from the Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity, Far and Away: How Travel Can Change the World, The Irony Tower: Soviet Artists in a Time of Glasnost, and the novel, A Stone Boat. He also co-produced the 2018 documentary, Far from the Tree, based on his book of the same name, and is featured in the widely-viewed TED Talks, Love, No Matter What, and Depression: The Secret We Share.
Tickets to this event are $5.00, with proceeds supporting Bedford Playhouse’s Let’s Talk series. Once tickets have been purchased an email with login information will be sent in advance of the event.
